If you are a fan of the pungent underground sounds of double vocals, At All Cost is the band for you. Home based in Austin, Texas and taking no prisoners at any cost, fans of the band come from far and wide to see a collaboration of musical styles delivered by this band. They have harsh and melodic vocals, curdling lyrics in the vein of Cradle Of Filth, yet the band is looking like a group of modest gentlemen. I love the press photo included with their package as they hit home with the truth. Five young men standing in a police lineup with the American flag behind them with a dollar sign painted over the stripe. Ain’t that the truth?

“Right Now” is a tremendous tune that employs a punk sound with a hardcore sound and adding both vocals styles of melodic and harsh. If the harsh vocals were not included, the song could have been mainstream top forty charting. That is not what At All Cost is about; they want to bring the underground main stream of hardcore with the brutal mixtures of sounds to the forefront. Which they do!!!

You gotta check out “Fabricated” as it shows a band that plays hardcore jumping the track and going to the eighties new wave style of the Buggles and adding flair of Linkin Park. If you think that is diverse “Consider That” will blow your mind starting off with bongos and tambourine with narration like ‘Dragnet.’ Don’t let these two songs sway your image of these Texans. At All Cost bounces right back to their roots with extreme growling hardcore sounds making this release a top notch CD. I love the changing style of At All Cost. These boys will bring in an array of fans if you give this CD a chance.
