Ummm, Finland you’re in trouble because BUCK TRAMP has landed! If you like raw sounds and rough vocals (and who doesn’t?!?!) then this is the band for you. If you think Blackie Lawless’s vocals were raw you haven’t heard anything yet. Check out the first track on offer, “Last Bandit”, it has a nice flow with Cim Dahlblom taking hold of the reins throughout the song. Not sure what to make of this disc so far…
“Story ‘Bout A Man” has that southern flare kinda like Janis Joplin if she was still rocking today. Really don’t know what else to say about the track but it just didn’t do it for me. “Doghouse” is another song that just has no get up and go for me. It’s like if you went out to the local bar to have a couple drinks and BUCK TRAMP was the band playing in the background… you know, the one you didn’t notice. Actually I might like it if I had more than a couple drinks!
“Hang ‘Em High” tries to push the levels but misses the mark once again. This is killing me to say but I do not want you to read the review and say Brian at RockEyez recommended this CD. Not happening… Last track is “Drunk On The Rails” and it’s actually the best track on the CD but I’m outta here already…
