Plotted in the cryptic furnaces of Hell by salacious, demonic forces GORGOROTH'S newest invocation to Satan “Quantos Possunt ad Satanitatem Trahunt” is a rapturous attack on the palsied senses of the last dying embers of Christianity. Rebirth, or more accurately revenge is the primary motivator here. Sect founder Infernus has reinstated original vocal chord decimator Pest as well as OBITUARY bassist Frank Watkins and former DISSECTION skin lasher Thomas Asklund to do his clandestine bidding, reclaiming not only the namesake of Tolkien's harshest land but it's rich musical lineage.
As you may recall his whole career was awkwardly 'stolen' yet essentially reclaimed by its rightful inventor after a much lauded and lengthy court battle. Harkening back to more of a mid tempo strategy interspersed with manic bouts of tastefully interjected blast beats many of the proclamations such as “Aneuthanasia” vaguely allude to “Pentagram” and “Under The Sign of Hell”, especially on the ash and soot stained “Rebirth”, the berserk, marauding rage that is “Human Sacrifice” and the luciferian addled curses of “Satan-Prometheus”. Selling one's soul to the Devil does have its redeeming qualities after all.
