Let’s first start off with the new KILLER KLOWNGain” CD with the cover showing the Statue of Liberty with a gun in her hand instead of the torch and with blood splattered near the base. I know things are bad in the world but the United States is still the land of opportunity and hopes are still high and with a new president there is a new wave and change will happen.

Well it’s kind of the same thing with KILLER KLOWN, a Sleaze rock band coming out of Italy and signed to Street Symphonies Records, the same people who brought you the great JOHNNY BURNING album. KLILLER KLOWN start things off in high style with “Monster Idiot” as they shred the typical sleaze style. Vocalist Gabriel kinda has the tantalizing technique of Axl Rose mixed with a bit of CJ Snare of FIREHOUSE; a little raspy yet can hold your attention and make you a devoted fan. The slashing guitar work of Diablo will set you on a tailspin as he reels off some amazing solos.

Don’t look for these guys to lie down and mummify your testicals, we are talking power with the rejuvenating power of a double dose of viagra! Check out “Blood Velvet” and the wa-wa pedal taking hold of this sweet gem.

Oh man! Check out the pipes of Gabriel on “Broken Silence”; for some reason the song reminds me of BON JOVI’s “Wanted Dead or Alive”. Maybe I’m right, maybe not but check it out for yourself.

Probably my favorite tune is “Smoke This”, because Gabriel’s vocals are so extreme and brings unheard of control like Sebastian Bach during his early days of SKID ROW; it just blows my mind!

This is the second release we got from Street Symphonies Records and with two outstanding releases under their belt now I would keep an eye on this label. KILLER KLOWN is a pummeling CD with some of the best vocals that have extreme passion. It’s music that excels power chords and a midsection that flows brilliance. This is a keeper!!!
