Well the “VH1 Metal Mania Stripped Vol. 3” CD is out and there is an array of diversity in the material, four songs were previously released, three were unreleased, and eight were new versions.

POISON – “Unskinny Bop” is a re-release so why do you want to hear it, unless you just like the tune. For me as a compilation, no problem… since I did not get POISON’s “Crack a Smile…. and More” album.

Shaw/Blades – “High Enough” these guys can’t do anything wrong. Seasoned veterans with a blend and touch of greatness… plugged or unplugged this is a great sentimental song that soothes the mind.

TESLA – “Signs” is another re-release but still holds up on a compilation. I know most TESLA fans will not buy “Stripped Vol. 3” Just for this one-track buy fans who hear the tune on the radio at one point might.

Kip Winger – “Headed For A Heartbreak” not one of my favorite people on this earth he has a fucking ego that matches DLR but to tell you the truth Kip did a helluva job and I hope his upcoming release will have the emotion that shines through on this tune.

DOKKEN – “In My Dreams” another re-release but Don still can hold the golden torch vocally and you know he can play a killer lick on acoustic for those who might not have seen him live.

FIREHOUSE – “When I Look Into Your Eyes” I know it’s a re-release but I don’t give one shit what anyone has to say C.J. Snare holds one of the best voices in music and Leverty is a plus. These guys just ooze greatness. They treat their fans as family and more than one hundred percent no matter what size crowd they play to.

RATT – “Way Cool Jr.” I was never a big RATT fan, but when Rockeyez was invited to Metal Mania Stripped Vol.2, Stephen Percy changed my mind. That man can handle a crowd and regardless if his song is a re-release you should still check it out.

Jani Lane – “Heaven” I know people say Jani’s voice is shot. I just don’t hear that. I saw WARRANT recently with my staff and I’ll tell you. I would take Jani back in a bat of an eye. I mean Jamie St. James is good but just doesn’t cut it for WARRANT.

AUTOGRAPH – “Turn up the Radio” Steve Plunkett, Ha Turn it Up!!! Still kick’n. What a great song and with those cool acoustic riffs still gets you pumping.

Tom Keifer – “Nobody’s Fool” NO NO NO please stop you’re killing me. Tom, what the fuck! You ruined a pure power song and shredded it. Pitiful!!!

KIX – “Don’t Close Your Eyes” is my favorite track and Steve Whitman should be known as an icon but most people just didn’t catch the wave of KIX.

Eric Martin – “Just Take My Heart” another great tune with Martin’s vocals it’s outstanding.

QUEENSRYCHE – “The Killing Words” another re-release. Really have nothing to say about the track.

SLAUGHTER – “Up All Night” another re-release. Mark brings energy to “Stripped Vol. 3.” Once a friend of mine back in the day but ditched me for the big time. Still you can’t deny the charisma he possesses.

ACCEPT – “Balls to the Wall” UDO Oh No you’re crushing me. ACCEPT Germany metal masters turning into Randy Newman. This is a tragedy, sounds like someone is crushing UDO’s balls.
