CRASHSIGHT formed in mid-2006 after a 5-year run as PERFECT HATE. The transformation of PERFECT HATE into CRASHSIGHT began with the keyboardist Phil Brown has moving to vocals, guitarist Zak Page joined from Phil's side project PBPMX and other PERFECT HATEmembers -- bassist Alex Lyle, guitarist Jose Munoz, and new drummer Miles Burke.

I love getting press packages from bands with their demos that show potential. CRASHSIGHT a band that is persistent with the driving force to get media attention as Phil Brown pounds the pavement and net trying to drum up press on his band CRASHSIGHT.

Rockeyez.com received CRASHSIGHT’s demo a few weeks ago as it lay in a pile of music next to others as we get a direct e-mail from Mr. Brown himself asking us what the fuck we want press. The determination of Phil Brown makes us push the CRASHSIGHT CD to the top of the pile and here we are. Press you need you got Mr. Brown.

CRASHSIGHT is by far a talented bunch of boys coming out of Texas. This band rocks and would have even more potential if they had some good bucks backing them. The band has essences of TOOL with vocals in the class of Peter Gabriel. I really enjoyed the opening track “Caught In a Parallel” it is a bit progressive and then accelerates to a higher level. Check the video for this track HERE .

“Post – Apathy” is another good track but the production is lacking or maybe what they were looking for was the old BLACK SABBATH muffled sound. The last track “Forward” has good tone and pushes the progression up a notch. All in all this is a good start for CRASHSIGHT they just need some hooks in their songs, similar to the first track “Caught In a Parallel” which is an excellent tune. Good luck!!!
