The heart of Europe’ Czech Republic definitely is not the typical home for the new wave of sleaze rock music. However very few bands rock this scene in a hard way such as newbies SWEET LEOPARD does. They debut three-song EP “Wild Ride Hot Night”, which starts very confidently with the song “Fuck That Bitch”. the name gives the listener the right image of the music. These dudes simply want sex, drugs & rock’n’roll, but what makes them special is their ability to insert passion into their sound. “Fuck That Bitch” is raw, simple and powerful.

Track two “Dr. Rock” starts with strong riff and continues into a catchy chorus reckless atmosphere of the eighties breaths from this song. Simplicity of the tunes makes it more powerful and the song seem to be more real.

“Wild Ride Hot Night” closes with a power ballad “Old Good Times” where singer Sany Angelo shows his abilities. The heart breaking song starts with acoustic guitar and graduates by drums which take it to the deeply felt chorus.

The three tracks are a preview of their upcoming album and if this is any indication of what is to come this is a must-have CD for every hair metal fan.
