When I started this site, my goal was to be the best in the world and seek out new bands and shed light on up and coming talent. I know we strayed away from that initial goal with other writers on my staff wanting to focus more on top notch artists, but it has to be done to gain readers. But my goal is still focusing on that hidden gem in music and hope to help them in their stride for success.

We made many friends along the way and will continue helping and finding those great artists out there.

Just happens today I get my first package from NZW Record in Sweden, which contains a CD single by a band named BREED, basically, it’s a one man band Jockim Samuelson.

“The Grace of Me” start things off kicking me right on my ass, it has and anthem style chorus that sets you back to the great era of KISS. The music is upbeat and the driving power being the song is the hooks embedded in the elevating chorus.

The next tracks “Within You” is just as good and pure AOR gold. I like the slight touch of female vocals by Evelina Sjoqvist hooking up with Jockim that give the song some depth, but again it’s the hooks in the chorus that draw you to play the tunes over and over again, two killer songs that have potential to reach worldwide acclaim. You go Jockim I will see you on the top!!!
