Memories of Staind come to mind when listening to the new release by Bullistic, “Chronicles Of Love & Hate” will put you on a roller coaster ride with many different turns. The band flares out in a bombardment of moments with raw gargling vocals to deep dark dreams. “Eulogy” gives visions of Jim Morrison even when Doug Gibson gets loud and raunchy you still get that Morrison feel, I love the addition of the fuzzbox on this track.

“Doomsday’s Coming” is a more direct connection with Rob Zombie’s style of music that has the down beat crunch of guitar work. The music on “Chronicles” is good but not exciting especially with a rendition of “Stuck In The Middle With You” by STEALERS Wheel which is totally pitiful. One listen is good enough for me.
