Well, now we have it... the new Carnival of SOULS CD! JUST imagine… they are a band that has opened for the likes of Queensryche, Motorhead, and many other national acts even before releasing their debut CD. The CD took a while to reach this stage and the wait for fans will be over shortly.

The opening track “Grey” was the band’s debut video and it’s really a home run. The song is bone-crunching with amazing lyrics and music that will capture you and terrorize your mind. The background vocals by Damian are eerie and will set the mood. Lee Cee’s lead vocals are raw and give you the feel of being a live recording (vs. studio). The power that oozes from Carnival of Souls does not let up. The song ends with chants of ‘Hey’ and the sounds of a music box mixed with the ominous whispers of Damian.

“Break Free” debuted on our site a short time ago. Just check out the drumming out by the master Bobby Rock - a man that is a legend in the music community. Bobby has worked with the likes of Vinnie Vincent Invasion, Slaughter, and Nelson just to mention a few. Bobby is slamming the skins on “Break Free” and he really is the highlight on this track. “We All Fall Down” is a rockin’ version of nursery rhymes with lyric changes and killer heart-thumping bass tracks.

“Walk Away” changes style for COS and actually brings a melodic side to the band. Cee’s vocal style will bring you into his world by putting you in a trance and smashing your brain. Guitar work by The Machine will certainly put him in a category of elite new guitarists. “Come Alive” is one the best songs on “Ashes to Ashes” that show the changing style of COS. It has all the elements that will bring the band to popularity and recognition with its diversity.

On this note, wait until you hear “Just for a Moment” - Cee’s voice and the song give the vibe of Peter Criss (KISS) singing “Beth.” The difference is that Cee’s vocals are much smoother and even with his shaved crown, he will surely be melting hearts. The fans will love this song.

This is a great debut CD by Carnival of Souls - so go out and buy it once it hits the stores!
