Punch me in the face because Chemical Vocation does that with their new EP. They bring that same flare of music as My Chemical Romance. Chemical Vocation takes hold of the reins and rips through bubble gum style music.

The new EP is produced by Eric Höjdén, singer and guitarist of Kid Down who recently received a perfect 5 stars on Rockeyez. The music is the new wave of Emo bouncing from wall to wall with energetic melodic power chords. I am not putting down Chemical Vacation for cashing in on the new wave of music because some of it is excellent. It just gets a little stale hearing basically the same sound over and over again. I like Chemical Vocation because they at least mix it up with some harsh vocals at point on the EP. The band shows tremendous energy and fans should appreciate that in a band. “Dispatch” will totally throw you off taking a different direction more in the vein as Crowded House. The raw sound of Chemical Vocation could actually put them in a soft hardcore genre. Great stuff to be heard by Sweden’s Chemical Vocation.
