If I was looking for a band to wreak havoc on the music industry, that has the essence of CRASHDÏET but when you introduce a raunchy element you will get one of the top five bands in Europe called GEMINI FIVE. These guys are truly the rock and roll outlaws and have no disregard in unleashing some of the best music this side of the tracks.

The opening track “Thunder & Lightning” shows the melodic side of the musicianship that GEMINI FIVE brings to the table. Yet track-two “I am Hollow” shows these boys are a classic act. Tin Star has a star aura that is clear-cut. The music is somewhat heavier than CRASHDÏET but the music holds the key to success with elevated power chords. The lyrics are catchy and drive the songs to ecstasy plus you will hear the phenomenal song writing ability which is the above the norm.

Track-three “Scream 4 Me” is just one of the home run songs that could have been taken right off a CRASHDÏET release. This tune sets new standards, ah and now I know why this sounds a bit like the CRASH boys, Guest appearances included Martin Sweet, Peter London and Eric Young of CRASHDÏET - Martin Sweet also co-wrote 3 tracks on the album. The guitars are on fire the power of elevation with heavy harmonies makes this a KILLER track.

Another kick ass track is “All Pistols”, it has the traditional glam era feel, fast powerful and energetic definitely a song to get any chicks nipples hard-- and I am sure Mr. Tin Star can testify to that. Hey Tin!

You know listening to “Sex Drugs Anarchy” I can’t but feel the early era of the CRASH boys with Mr. Leppard, hard edge, strong vocals and Tin Star kicking it up into high gear. The guitar are amazing and the heartbeat to every track, I am really enjoying this release by G5.

I mean track after track just floors me; check out “Lay your Money Down” this really pisses me off, we don’t have anything like this in the USA, like back in the day we had great bands like TRIXTER, GUNS and others but the US scene needs to be rejuvenated. It’s starting back up, but basically; the key holder right now is great bands of yesteryear doing reunion shows. We need some new blood to keep the ball rolling.

Just take a listen to “Here 2day gone 2mrw” it has perfection all over it with soaring guitar, great harmonies, just another outstanding tune. Followed by another “Something's Gotta Give” and another and another. All I can say is GET THIS CD.
