Poland thrashers Hellfire released a solid album, “Requiem for My Bride” with reminisce to old school 80’s metal bands such as Iron Maiden to name an infinite many. Naturally I was hopping on to this album right when “Road to Hell” kicked in with Tomasz Twardowski’s echoing scream. His vocals remind me of Giuseppe Cialone from Rosae Crucis.

Songs are a little varied on this album, but production could be a little better – the guitar riffs are superb, yet are blurred into the mix, which makes it hard to appreciate. This album can sound worse if using a portable CD player, I cannot figure out why. Also, songs after “Wired Tale / Deadly Lullaby” get kind of old due to repetitions – which are a common problem with many music albums.

If you liked 3 Inches of Blood, I would definitely give these guys a shot. Rock On!
