Indigo Child was formed in spring 2002 in Maribor, Slovenia. The band released one demo with four tracks and those four tracks made the cut for their new release “Re-Death.” From the first notes I knew this would be something special. Eva’s heavenly voice and the unusual keyboards really set the pace for the first track. Mario adding vocals sounding like Pete Steele of Type O Negatives make “N.E.R.V” a great opening song. Track-two “Bitter Fact of Conclusion” Mario sings lead vocals with Eva working in the background and the power of the music just blows me away. The production on the CD is proficient and helps the gothic melodic sound. Saso takes center stage on track three “60 Seconds of Life”. His keyboard is outstanding with the mix of the guitar, power drumming and deep vocals amazing. “Root of Eden” Come on, STOP! How many good songs can you have with eight songs on this CD? “Roots of Eden” I don’t care what kind of music you like. You gotta check this song out it is the outstanding track on the Indigo Child debut. This band can make a big impact with some backing!
