I love this stuff, hearing bands reminiscent of the great past glam bands like RUBY SLIPPERS, PRETTY BOY FLOYD early MÖTLEY CRÜE and even SARAYA lighting the touch once again. Italy’s JOHNNY BURNING seems to reach deep down and bring those baby boomers out once again, not sure, if they have the hair anymore but they can simply pass that on to the new generation.

JOHNNY BURNING’s production is phenomenal, the sound quality, mixing and mastering is perfection for an Indie artist and you have to applaud Street Symphonies Records for putting out a quality product.

Now getting to the music, right from the first track these boys are heavy-hitters with no limitations on the fans they plan to conquer. Manuel's vocals have an extraordinary range and can kick it into high gear. This guy brings it from vibrato to a piercing scream. I am totally impressed with the opening track “Wrong Shape.” The guitar work by D.B. and Niko is killer; likewise, the vocals are amazing also, going from screams, 0to bluesy sound then holding notes that take will your breath away. It doesn’t stop there, though. "Devil Inside" is another masterful tune that smokes, hard hitting riveting guitars pushing the pedal to the metal. Love it!!! It’s not just the music that make this song rock, the lyrics are catchy, melodic and pumping.

These guys are not your basic rockers; they have huge balls, Track three “Sassy Lassie Goose” is a capella for the first 23 seconds! When is the last time you heard that on a sleaze rock release? Yeah I didn’t think you had. Well check it out. The song has a flare of AEROSMITH bumping and grinding with a heavy overdose of rhythm.

Check it out fucking harmonica JOHNNY BURNING is taking it to another level. These boys are holding nothing back pulling all the tricks out of the bag and shoving it in your face, even cowbells. “Idiota” has the hooks, the music and special touches to hit the charts and will be a crowd favorite. I haven’t heard anything this good since my favorite sleaze rockers CRASHDÏET.

“Shine” is a ballad that is reaching new heights. You think these boys are all about being heavy and kicking your ass… well yes, but these guys also know how to do justice to a ballad and you will hear that on “Shine.” I mean this blows me away just unbelievable how some young guys like JOHNNY BURNING seem like they have been in the business for ages.

“Rock In The USA” is more than a Ménage à trois, it molds sounds of JUDAS PRIEST with the modern day glam era. Hooks galore, pulsating guitar and vocals that jumps an octave as the traditional rhythm and bass by Cesko brings ecstasy.

Ha-ha “Turn Down Just To Leave It” sounds like the beginning of “Sweet Home Alabama” by LYNYRD SKYNYRD. I told you these guys don’t hold anything back, this is a sleaze collectors dream, you gotta pick this up, the best sleaze rock CD released this year, so far!
