Eeeeks, yikes, run for your very lives!! The malicious monster mob from Finland, LORDI walks amongst us ...and they are hungry. Famished from years of paltry pickings relegated to the Finnish nether-worlds the five-beast crew consisting of all manners of sundry demons has possessed the mortal souls of The End Records who have offered them the proper subliminal altercation for worldwide obliteration. Their newest sonic maelstrom is the all conquered all eaten "The Arockalypse" which not only rocks like a brothel on a humongous water bed but boasts a hoary cast of rock star miscreants, among them TWISTED SISTER's audaciously erratic ringmaster Dee Snider who narrates the obvious "Night Of The Living Dead" inspired news clip intro of "SCG 3 Special Report". Also crucial in manning the decrepit sails of Lordi's rancid vessel are fellow demoniacal henchmen Udo from ACCEPT and Bruce Kulick (ex-KISS).
Strategically guided by former KISS manager/Mogul mastermind Bill Aucoin, who as you well know has a natural knack for representing masked malcontents, the band is set to consummate major upheaval. But the difference here lies in the fact that KISS consisted of mortal men. LORDI on the other hand are supernatural beings. Wringing catharsis from a planet mourning the loss of their children's souls LORDI does it's darnedest to implement a sense of unity amongst the despised through pop infused metal stompers like "Bringing Back the Balls to Rock", "Chainsaw Buffet' and the ludicrous but likeable anthem-like strains of "Would You Love A Monsterman". Marketed ingeniously like ALICE COOPER inherited by the costumes and cutlery of GWAR, LORDI is poised to inherit the earth and devastate its minions. How the puny bipeds counter their battalion like battlelorn attack though remains to be seen.
