Japan’s Mad Machine releases their latest release, “Mad Machine” on Predator Records. The Japanese trio brings their power/trash metal to the world. First let’s start off with the packaging for the CD. Art work done by Jan Oidium of Oidium Comics in Germany. http://www.oidium-comics.de/ . There is a chrome predator like monster on the cover attacking a humanoid. The whole package from Mad Machine is perfection. They got talent, image and backing. The band garners black leather, studded with chrome and spikes ala Kerry King. They are fronted by female vocalist Keiko who sounds like Doro on helium. To my surprise after listening to the CD many times, the vocals grow on you. “Violent Clash” starts things off with pure trash metal. It’s hard to believe this is just a trio by listening to the CD. Track-two “Shining God’s Hands” is hard-edged metal that has catchy lyric and some great riffs by Ganzz. “Get over Time” is the outstanding track on the CD. Keiko shows off her true vocals on this song. She is melodic, sexy and could be a force in the metal world. Mad Machine has it all going on and I look forward to hearing a lot more from this band in the future. Check them out on Blitz on the Web.
