MAD MARGRITT has the sound of down home boys rockin’ out to the 80’s music. They have fundamental chords down to a tee as they pump up the volume. Excellent sounds come from MAD MARGRITT as their music sounds like blues meets glam.

“Goodbye” is such a great song in the vein of a POISON / WARRANT ballad. These guys fit right into the same mold. “Goodbye” starts off slow for most of the song and totally rips with power towards the end reminiscent of THE OUTLAWS “Green Grass and High Tides.”

Track seven from MM is a cover of the song “Midnight Rendezvous” by THE BABYS which is pretty good considering not too many bands would ever try and match Mr. John Waite. But MM give it a good shot and I like their version, because they bring a harder edge to the song.

“Believe” is another ballad with vocals awakening memories of Jani Lane (formerly of WARRANT). One of the best tracks on the CD is “Lonely” as it gives you that feel of vintage WARRANT. MAD MARGRITT gives 100% on this CD with power chords, good harmonies, and the down home feel of the 80’s. With some push by Perris Records MAD MARGRITT will have a huge following. Great CD!!!
