Aggression, pulverizing and destruction, can be inducted into the simplest of minds. Burnt memories will prevail as Mastery release their barbaric debut “Lethal Legacy.” A true groundbreaking CD of instrumental thrash that pulsates, it is so riveting; you really don’t miss the vocals. The taste of screaming guitar and masterful drumming, Mastery is taking the thrash to new levels. You can hear the influences of vintage Metallica as Mastery destroys your eardrums. You would think that six songs of damaging instrumental pound music would affect your desire to listen!

On the first track “Behold”, Mastery uncovers such a unique sound, your attention is held and you will not let go. The drumming by Kevan Roy and his 13 acoustic drums, 12 electronic pads/triggers, and 19 cymbals makes Keith Moon bring up evil from the grave and take notice. Roy totally captivates you with his style. When Jeff Dormer slams the wire, forget it! Toronto is hellbound with ecstasy... Mastery is the way of the future; they’re leading a new army of soldiers to war! “Lethal Legacy” flows in harmony; it is undoubtedly the best song on the CD. Please check these guys out; it will start a new era in music.
