MINDFLOW Brazil’s melodic masters bring forth their latest release “Just the two of us… me and them.” Sixteen tracks of power with a vocalist that changes styles as much as the world revolves in a good way. I would compare Danilo as a melodic Bruce Dickinson. This disc is not just about the music Danilo brings you into his world almost as a hypnotist would. The music itself is fantastic. The only thing I did not like is that extra-added demon like talking during some of the songs. The musicianship is outstanding with some of the songs adding fusion style electronics. I think if MINDFLOW just stuck to the melodic metal the CD would be more of a success. “So that Life Can Move Along” isan exceptional ballad that runs into the next track “Invisible Messages.” “Another Point of View”is an excellent track with strange keyboard work but again they add electronic vocals, which hurt the song. Many bands leave the best track for last and that is no exception with MINDFLOW “A Noble Truth #2” is the outstanding track on this disc.
