With two prior releases under their belt (“Heart of Midwinter” in 2006 and “Last Woman Standing” in 2011), MISS BEHAVIOUR are ready to take the world with their 3rd instalment called “Double Agent”. August 29th is set for the 3rd release “Double Agent” on AOR Heaven and fans are hoping this will be the one to take hold of the world.

It all started back in 2003 as MISS BEHAVIOUR was looking for that niche that would put them on the road to stardom. It really didn’t take long before the masses join together and the band was on their way.

The new disc starts off with “On With The Show” and the golden voice of Sebastian Roos is shining. His vocals can be compared to a smoother version of Mark Slaughter that can hit the high notes as well as the low notes. The man has some amazing range. Guitarist Erik Heikne is another bright light in the MISS BEHAVIOUR camp bringing killer solo’s along with his suave sound.

The title track, “Double Agent”, slows things down a bit with a melodic rocker that has good tempo. I thought the song was a little lacking for a title track. It’s good but I was expecting a much powerful tune.

“Cold Response” is another mild tempo song and the chorus really picks up the song. Love the keys of Henrik Sproge and the guitar of Erik Heikne as they blend so well feeding off each other. “Magical Feeling” is a song that is heating up the disc. At points it a mild tune but the chorus is explosive.

“Corporation Arms” highlights the vocal powers of Sebastian Roos. This melodic ballad shows the true talent of MISS BEHAVIOUR with the soaring guitar and excellent background vocals.

“Love Reflector” picks up the flow with the heaviest tune so far but just misses the mark. I liked the song but it needed a strong chorus, which it falls short on. I don’t mind slow melodic tunes but you need to mix it up a bit and MISS BEHAVIOUR do that on “Edge Of The World”. The song starts off with some great keys then a heavy dose of drums and bass lines. The harmonies are in full production with this one and this is classic MB. Great Tune!

Jumping to “Midnight Runner” is another good song but once again missing the mark for me. The song is not well balanced there is no highs or lows. It has good lyrics but musically is not all that exciting. “The Cause Of Liberty” begins with excitement but falls back into that hole once again but does comes to life during the chorus, which elevates the track a bit.

“Dancing With Danger” s next and all I can say is the guitar work of Erik Heikne is amazing and I love the keys of Henrik Sproge even thou I would have liked the Keys to stand out a bit more in the production. I think the song could have been stronger but it’s a good song as it stands.

Ending the disc is “Silver Rain” and it’s another slow tempo song that really doesn’t deliver. I do love the ending of the song. I loved the last album but “Double Agent” is an above average release and not what I was expecting or hoping for from the band.
