The aggressive style of SACRED DAWN is pushing the dial of an independent label to its limits with hard churning double kicking bass drums and some cool guitar riffs. The music on '(Worlds Apart) The Desire' and 'I'm the One' has potential to shine with better production.
I was really getting into those two tracks right off the bat and I can feel the emotions and in my mind just thinking what those tracks would sound like with the guitar levels up a bit and having a cleaner sound.
Lothar Keller voice has changing range reaching down to a mild Peter Steele yet reaching high progressive notes, you will see that change on the ballad 'Hatred'. SACRED DAWN has the ALICE IN CHAINS aura with a more progressive and aggressive mold.
'White Road, Black Sun' is a pretty wild song that runs the gamut of hard hitting chords with Vitale's guitar slinging being off the hook. Don't even try to put your finger on who resembles vocalist Lothar Keller since he is so diverse, just check his pipes out on 'Shadows' you will see what I mean.
The highlight track has to be 'Walls of Jericho' that has metal hooks that you can sink your claws into. I liked the entire CD " Gears of the Machine" maybe it will lead to a well known independent label where SACRED DAWN can really shine.
