SWEET CYANIDE and RockEyez go back years ago, 2008 to be precise, when we named them one of three best new bands to watch in the future. Well it’s been some time and some line-up changes have occurred but we knew we would hear from them again.

I am ecstatic with the addition of bass master Ali Hassan, a longtime friend of mine. I know we only have one track to talk about but the band is hard at work writing and finishing up material for their forthcoming album, “For The Love Of...” to be released late Spring 2014 exclusively on vinyl and digital download.

Well onto the new song “Better At Goodbyes”. The scorching raw sounds bellow from the ungodly holy land that surely matured SWEET CYANIDE. I was expecting a good tune but the excitement level pushed the track to an explosive level leaving me begging for more. What makes the song are the harmonies and the killer chorus. You would think the band would just flow with past SWEET CYANIDE tracks but the band has seasoned into an arena entity. I am already chomping at the bit for more new tunes if they are anything like this one. I applaud SWEET CYANIDE.
