The Beer-misters of Germany are back Tankard’s keg was running dry and has refilled itself with a new brew of molten Thrash. The Hops are done to perfection and the tunes are overflowing with rippling riffs by gunslinger Andy Gutjahr as the headbanging begins. “Ice-olation” if full throttle pummeling as the song moves into high gear. This is just good ole thrash metal at it’s finest. The songs are strong in reminiscent of vintage Anthrax and I miss the days of the quality Thrash of Anthrax and Testament as they hit the hot spot L’Amour in Brooklyn New York back in the day.

Tankard makes a statement, Thrash is by far over with and “The Beauty and the Beer” is extreme and fun to listen to. The pronounced chords will jar your memory how good Thrash is when played well like Tankard. “Forsaken World” reek’s greatness; even though most of the tunes are not technical, it’s just the balance of speed guitar and the breaks in the vocal screams by "Gerre" make the songs come to life. You have to play the CD on eleven to get the full effect dislodging the neck brace you will be wearing for the next couple months.

Andy Gutjahr goes off on “The Beauty and the Beast” making a spectacle of himself, switching power chords to hitting the high notes shattering glass. If you’re asking where the ballad is I’ll smash a beer mug in your face. But if you listen to the start of “Metalometal” Tankard fools you by starting the song off with slow melodic guitar, then the souls of the metal gods takes over smashing everything in sight. “Dirty Digger” is a cool song and the vocals sound like and evil Bruce Dickinson taking over the body of Gerre. You want to get a speeding ticket put this on when your driving that will do the trick. Ha-ha Great CD Tankard.
