Raunchy guitar power-pop driven Tilterworld will be releasing their debut CD next month full of raspy vocals and power chords. My good friend Michael Thomas (who is the founding member of Fastback and who was in bands such as Engines of Aggression, Beautiful Creatures, and Steven Adler (formerly of Guns ‘n’ Roses) is on guitar. Michael is a talent that every band wishes they could have.  Lonny Paul, the lead vocalist is also a talent who will be releasing his own guitar model in December.

The band pushes the power to the limit hitting you with a style of Alternative Power-pop. “Vicious Circle” starts the disc off with a rocking tune on the style of the Killers but with more punch. Lonny’s vocals sound like Claus Lessman (BONFIRE). Many of the songs on their debut release are easily AOR tunes like “Can’t Wait” and “Without A Trace.”

What I really like about Tilterworld is that almost all the songs are in a different mode but they all hit you with a great chorus, which will hook you. That is what makes this band exceptional and what makes this a great debut.
