Only a master of disguise can pull off a great release, and with TRIXIE’s latest release “Shelter” you will hear a vocal range that changes styles from Vince Neil MOTLEY CRÜE to Jon Bon Jovi.

The opening track “Hell Yeah” is a smooth opening song that Ronnie Borchert injects his love gun with a women’s moan during the first second as Borchert keeps the song pumping as it get real hard with great hooks and choruses.

“Inside of Me” slows things down a bit with a BON JOVI “Wanted Dead Or Alive” theme and what I like about TRIXIE is that the songs are fun and the kids will enjoy singing along, they have those good eighties rock guitar riffs by Sammy Egan and many of the songs are sure AOR tunes.

“You That I'm Wantin” is just another tune to mention that has some great harmonies and background vocals that would shine in an arena, but you gotta check the next track “Lookin' For Love” which is one helluva song. Going back to the BON JOVI “In & Out of Love” vibe, TRIXIE can rock the house with this tune, it just amazing to hear how versatile a band can be with the imagination of future stardom in their grasp. Ronnie I hope you were covering your mouth when you coughed, because you can be the next role model.

Hey did Slash do a guest spot on “Stay” sounds like this could be a melodic GnR tune. Sammy Egan does a great job. Funny shit here, but you really gotta check it out a cover of DEF LEPPARD’s “Wasted” which is phenomenal sounding, just like the great LEP and Borchert sounding remarkably like Joe Elliot. AMAZING!!!
