L.A. rockers TSAR are about to release their second CD called “Band Girls Money.” TSAR brings the fast-paced styles of L.A. Guns and BuckCherry with a pop sound. These guys put 100% of their energy into this CD and you can just feel the energy ooze on each song.
Track-one “Band Girls Money” sounds a lot like BUCKCHERRY; This is a total ripping song that will be stuck in your head for years to come. “Wanna Get Dead” is in the style of former New York Dolls rocker Sylvain Sylvain with a mix of Davy Vain. TSAR gets a little melodic on “The Love Explosion” but still manage to keep their image.
On the track “Superdeformed,” TSAR show they were influenced by T-REX with this song. I think TSAR can bring back the fun that fans had back in the eighties with this disc. “Wrong” is just a great tune to pump up while driving? Just watch out for those troopers, because they will confiscate your copy of “Band Girls Money” and fly. “Conqueror Worm” is a ballad TSAR style always keeping that little bit of power. If TSAR gets some push on this new release, it will go platinum.
