What do you wanna be when you grow up? I wanna be more successful than my father, Dee Snider. Yeah. Jesse Blaze Snider, son of Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider is launching a new campaign. Little boys must grow up and sow their oats, and Jesse is bouncing right into it. He knows he will get the typical “You’re daddy’s boy” crap, and he says “Fuck You.”

In April, we did an exclusive interview with Jesse who was very candid and told us about the shit he has to go through with being Dee’s son: however, Jesse is sure proud of papa Dee, and couldn’t be happier to break out on his own and make a name for his self. We read reviews of his early demos and listened to people saying he is crap and only getting by with daddy’s name. Well, Rockeyez gives everyone a chance, and let me tell you--those people are totally wrong. Jesse has been plugging away for a few years and still has not turned his back on music. He is back with a vengeance: he has a new band, a new name and a remodeled demo of past killer tunes. “Juggernaut” starts things off-and if that doesn’t knock you on your ass, something is wrong with you.  This song is killer; my kids were bopping around the living room as if they found money.

“Make it Hurt” is another fantastic tune that mixes alternative and rock riffs. It has a catchy chorus, and the melodic-style guitar of Danny Wacker licking his chops and breaking out with a solo makes the song melt. “Bring It” takes BXF in a different direction, combining rock with the blues and Wacker taking on a Leslie West vibe. The songs on the new disc were previously released with Jesse’s past band Blazed: with the new lineup, they make a huge difference in the sound and quality of the music.
