Elsewhen, what can I say, not is much known about this band. Their website has no information and no background, but that has nothing to do with their music, (unless you’re a record company trying to gather information.) Elsewhen’s sound is a high potency guitar orientated ala Carlos Santana. “Dancer” opens the CD with melodic guitar with slow paced vocals with a nice touch of mellow keyboards. It is pretty wild that the production is fairly good since the liner notes say recorded and mixed at Steve’s bedroom. “The Heretic” is another good tune, still slow paced with guitar sounding like a flamenco concerto style song. “Under” is the weakest track on the demo, with no direction and poorly done. Nevertheless, this is a fair demo, but I feel the band needs some work on the arrangements and lyrics. Good Luck, guys!
