What can you say about Sweden’s rejuvenated sleaze/glam scene except that it is spectacular these days? It’s like the new L.A. Sunset Strip and majors and indie labels are gobbling bands up. New signings are huge and it’s like we’ve come full-fold with this scene. We just got in a new two track demo from another one of those Swedish bands by the name of LIZZY INSANE, who started back in 2005 and released one demo in 2009 before this new release which featured “Rock Me” and “Bastard” (which you can still hear on their MySpace page). The new release contains two tracks, “Bedroom Heat” and “Can’t Stop Rockin’” from their forthcoming offering later this year.

So let’s check it out…

The first track “Bedroom Heat” has a laid-back atmosphere with a party feel. You can tell this is a full band effort with the vocals which can be described as arena rock with full fan participation. Great party tune…

Don’t lie back too long because here we go with another party tune in “Can’t Stop Rockin’”. Jens Lundgren’s guitar puts you in that mood and the background vocals will have the crowd rockin’.

All I can say is LIZZY INSANE has to be a great live band based on these two tracks. Check ‘em out.
