MarysCreek can only be described as the perfect balance of melodic rock and progressive music. The guitar work by Peter is outstanding and the lyrics are molded in the vein of King’s X with the vocal style of Don Dokken. The production is suburb and you would never know it is a demo. “She” is a phenomenal song that has seamless balance and is just an excellent song. Mats' vocals really tell the truth about MarysCreek showing one of the secrets to their success. Mats shines throughout the demo with flawless expertise. The musicianship is excellent and the only thing I can say the band needs are hooks in their songs to make the big time. “Love Game” is another track that shows the diversity of MarysCreek. The song starts off sounding like hard trash metal and then slows down to soft rock, it mixes pounding melodic rock with ripping guitar and ends with a short mandolin medley. Check these guys out.
