Wow, this is a first for us, a band from the country of Algeria! Worth formed in 1999 and toured festivals and wrote enough to gather material for two CD’s. With no producer or label they somehow managed to record a three-track self-financed demo, “The Reading Scene of Life.”

Track-one, “Wrath of Gaia,” gives the feel of early SLAYER; unfortunately, the production is not the best and has some muffling. “Trapped between Past & Future” is a killer tune that starts off slow and melodic and then breaks into a melodic power tune.

If the band can write more material replicating this style they can become a force in their genre. “The Way the Dead Live” is another good tune but the production is a turn-off.

It is sad to say this, but the truth is that although the band is really good, they have no money, producer or label and they will most likely be pushed under the carpet.

  • Reda - Guitar
  • Rachid - Drums
  • Mus - Guitars / Keyboards / Samples
