This CD is a textbook example of where nature and industry meet. One part mysterious forest, one part technological city ghetto. ARCANE ASYLUM melds the two ruthlessly, calculatingly and essentially successfully, much like the disc's cover art which juxtaposes electricity (manmade) and in its purest threatening form. Purists, deviators and alternative types alike will discover commonality somewhere along the turgid but pleasured dark highway that is “Tribulation” or the feelings encountered once you've tepidly entered the dark gallows of “Self Destructive Oath”.

Featuring guest vocals from Malefic (XASTHUR) and Lord Kaiaphas (ex ANCIENT) who lend credence to its already rich tapestry of hallucinogenic qualities and weight to its heady proclamations, this is essentially trance music for the morbid. Best described as THE CURE meets DISEMBOWELMENT in a mental ward.
