Stephanie was born in Newark, NJ, raised on Jazz, Blues, R&B, Old Rock N Roll, and classical music, which accounts for her varied musical interest. In the ‘80’s she worked for a high-speed duplicator of cassettes and 8-tracks, which exposed her to a world of varied musical interests. She shared this love of music with her mother both being fans of AC/DC, Metallica, Bruce Springsteen, Guns & Roses, Van Halen, etc; while still maintaining their love for Sam Cooke, Chuck Berry, Dinah Washington, The Temptations and various others that molded their love of music. In the ‘90’s Stephanie married a Rock Photographer, and continued to collect CD’s and change their music collection over from LP’s. Right now Stephanie is stuck in the ‘80’s and the ‘50’s where Rock was fun!!!. |

David was a writer/photographer for a local New Jersey publication called ROUGH MIX and has also been published in METAL EDGE & CREAM. He has literally done hundreds of interviews over the years including AEROSMITH, TESLA, RONNIE JAMES DIO, DOKKEN, BLACK SABBATH, MOTLEY CRUE, and QUEENSRYCHE just to name a few. But, he is probably best known for actually turning down an interview with NIRVANA. |

Born in Bayonne NJ,
music has always been a major part in Joe’s world. Both Joe’s grandfathers were musicians. On one side of the family, Joe’s Grandfather was a world-class Sax and clarinet player who played in many great Big Bands during his career. The other grandfather in Joe’s family ( in-between being shot at) was a guitar player, violinist who entertained the troops during WW2.
Joe followed quickly grabbing a pair of sticks and beating on anything he could find. His musical journey has brought him to many places, Starting at a young age Joe banged on pots and pans, leading into many garage bands. His first big taste of the stage was at the High school talent show where he and fellow band members of “Burnt Toast” played ELP tunes.
He then traveled the country as a member of a Drum and Bugle Corps. (Not marching band, big difference). “Best Experience in my Life”.
Joe spent his time off from traveling practicing his drum kit skills under a bridge. Yes Bridge! Why? Joe’s grandmother would not let him practice in the house! As Granny put it, “ Cut it out ! All the damn dishes in the house are falling and breaking!” Well that was that!
So Joe and the drums would get packed up and driven to an isolated oasis that he found under the N.J Garden State Parkway Bridge. There is where he spent a lot of his time. “The acoustics were incredible! I highly recommend it”. Joe has been involved in many original recording projects as well as maintaining a cover band to keep it fun! Aside from music Joe has a wonderful family, a beautiful wife and two great girls. Yes! One plays drums and the other guitar! “I will have a dream team one day”. - “Music is the heartbeat of life’s journey”. |

Danaë Rosen is a longtime fan of powerful, intelligent, creative music. Luckily for her, heavy metal is right at home within these parameters. She has been researching, courting, creating and falling in love with this music throughout her life starting with singing at age 5 and moving through piano, violin, flute, clarinet and guitar. She has been ruthlessly dominating the electric bass for over seven years, and most recently has signed on as the female vocalist in the Bay Area prog metal outfit Mindcage. Some of her favorite and most influential heavy metal bands include Accept, Riot, Pain of Salvation, Symphony X, Iron Maiden, Kamelot, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Savatage, Dio, Y&T and Queensrÿche. Aside from music, some of Danaë's other interests include Japanese cuisine, tasty Cabernets, drawing/painting, lounging about in the hammock, and enjoying her family. Danaë currently resides in Sonoma County with her husband Dietrick and their two Dalmatians, Koosh and Kiwi. *Danaë was a contributing writer for www.RockEyez.com in 2006 and is happy to be back on the staff. |

Friends with Brian for over 20 years, he has worked with him on numerous adventures, happily to be working on another one.
Raised on 70's music (courtesy of older brothers 8-tracks) listening to Rolling Stones, Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Allman Brothers but it was in 1975 when 10 year old Bill heard “KISS ALIVE” for the very first time and that’s when it all came together. Since then he’s been KISS fanatic/collector up until now. "It's great to look at items you have or memories you think of and remember how much part of your childhood is in this stuff.” He re-paid older brother by introducing him to Metallica in 1982 courtesy of Rock And Roll Heaven at Route 18 flea market in New Brunswick, N.J.
Fave bands-- KISS (naturally) Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Alice In Chains, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, and 70's guitar rock.

Greg Schmitt was born in New Milford, CT. His 70's childhood revolved around KISS, after receiving "DRESSED TO KILL" for his 6th birthday. His record collection later expanded into classic 70's hard rock (Queen, Rush, Ozzy, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin et al) and then exploded during the 80's metal renaissance. He spend the late 80's in the New York area pop-metal band PASSION RISK. Around this time is when he first befriended Brian & Bill through their mutual KISS activities. Greg currently resides in Connecticut with his wife, Jennifer, working in music video production. He is also a staple vendor in the New England record convention circuit.

My photography career started on 5/8/04 when I went to see The Machine at BB Kings. I took the advice from a friend who told me to bring a camera with me because of their psychedelic light show. On that day, I fell in love with concert photography. I literally "focused" most of my free time on shooting live musicians and performers. Then in Sept of 2005 a band called Almost Queen took a serious interest in my work and introduced me to their manager who also manages many national artists. He asked me if I was interested in shooting a rock opera called Van Helsing's Curse with Dee Snider. I jumped at this opportunity, and many others after that.. In August 2007 I was introduced to the owner of Dexter's Entertainment Complex in Riverdale, NJ. I was hired as the house photographer where I currently shoot many National Artists, Originals, Tributes and Covers. I love them all!
I also recently began doing some Studio photography.
