New York City is the home of Future 86. Playing sold out shows at CBGB’s the old stopping ground of likes of The Ramones and Blondie. Future 86 is more of an alternative band with a new wave style. I am sure many factors come in to play when future 86 play shows. Besides having catchy tunes and great vocals, Courtney is eye candy for the men. As listening to the CD the first-track, “Get it to me” has the flare of AC/DC’s “Whole lot of Rosie” but once Courtney starts singing the band takes on their own persona. “Suddenly” could be a true classics track on “After Party.” It has all the making of a top 10 song. The band reminds me of a more up to date Scandal (Patti Smyth). Many of the songs have that good sing along vibe and can make an impact for Future 86.
