This is a great story about a band coming out in the 80’s and hitting the L.A. Strip, playing to big crowds and making a name for themselves. PAIR-A-DICE is the band and with their legion of followers, the ones who never let their guard down; always hoping to one day hear and see the resurrection of their beloved band PAIR-A-DICE.

Well, the time has come and twenty years is a long wait; but, with the rejuvenated rock scene making the rise to the top again, and with the festival Rocklahoma going on in July; you will not only get to hear these boys, but see them play once again.

In the meantime though, PAIR-A-DICE and Retrospect Records has just released for the first time ever the only recordings by these L.A. legends. Retrospect is one of the leading companies making the surge to bring back rockers from the underground.

The opening tune “Stay The Night” sends chills down my spine; this is the music I always loved and still do. The vocals of Paul Lancia are totally classic Eighties rock and the vocal power he possesses is amazing. PAIR-A-DICE is WARRANT meets SKID ROW with searing guitar solos by Billy D'Vette and Dave Marshall with some great harmonies as well. “Nowhere To Run” brings a little heavier approach with this Anthem style song and once again the guitars are high volume and make a huge impact to the tunes of PAIR-A-DICE.

“Where's Jenny” is the highlight track, with some fantastic harmonies. With the lead vocals straying in a different direction then the rest of the songs; this would be and AOR top rotation song for sure. If you want some kick ass rock & roll with speed, check out “Midnight Train”. These boys definitely kicked it up a notch. The boys end the CD in style with a melodic ballad called “I'll Be There For You” and that hits the heart. This is a CD you want to add to your collection. If you loved the Eighties era and the good vocals and harmonies that came with it, BUY THIS.

Make sure you give these guys support during their set at Rocklahoma Set time 6:55-7:35 PAIR-A-DICE (SOUTH STAGE SPONSOR - Retrospect Records). Have your fist raised and show them a good time!
