Elvira Madigan a unique band of underground Gothic music. Has all the making of a fantastic sound track. I really got into this CD because I love the music. The vocals require an acquired taste, which many will not like. The vocals are raspy demon like which fits the music. Haunting keyboards echo through every song. The power here is in the music itself. At times, the music is melodic and symphonic to harsh overtones, which is unbearable. Track 5 and 6 are masterpieces and both “At Zanarkand” and “Jacob's Ladder” are instrumentals . Track 7 “Elvira” shows that the vocalist can change his styles. Amazingly, without the raspy vocals, he can really sing. My favorite tracks are “The Leader,” “The Vision.” and “What About Me?” all three songs run into each other starting as a ballad working it's way to mind blowing musicians dream. The mix between the Guitar and Keyboards is heavenly.” It's just  Fantastic .”
