My buddy Kenny from H.E.A.T turned us on to DEGREED a band that started in Stockholm, Sweden back in 1998 with different name. Then with some personnel changes morphed in 2006 to become DEGREED.

Heavily keyboard dominated and volatile in classic rock style DEGREED show strong harmonies and stylistic vocals by Robin Ericsson in the vein of LOVERBOY and EUROPE. These guys should hit the long ball quickly. The opening song “Catch The Feeling” is a chart topping blockbuster tune that has charisma and the catchy chorus that will have you humming along with one listen.

“My Fall” is another good tune and more of an easy listening song, but track three “Arms Of Misery” jumps right back into things more in the alternative genre or progressive style, the keyboards by Micke Jansson gives the song energy. All three songs are written to perfection and it looks like DEGREED is on the way to bigger things ahead.

Band Lineup:
  • Micke Jansson – Keyboards
  • Mats Ericsson – Drums
  • Daniel Johansson – Guitar
  • Robin Ericsson – Vocals, Bass
  • Jonas Erkers – Guitar

Track Listing:
  1. Catch The Feeling
